March – Update – the funding Application

The funding application to Creative Scotland was sent off on February 1st, we will hear the outcome of the bid in mid April.

The funding application was made by Professor Martin Price UNESCO Chair of Sustainable development and director of the Centre for Mountain Studies at Perth College, University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). The project will be curated and produced by Iliyana Nedkova director of the Contemporary Art at Horescross Arts, Perth.

The project will be in two strands:

An art and science research programme in Perth and the Cairngorms during 2019 – 20 – a residency with Prof Martin Price and UHI

A public engagement programme across Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre in March 2020

The outcomes will be the following (newly commissioned):

A multi- screen (22 screen) video installation

A single screen film

A sound installation

Drawings and sculpture

A series of 120 Prints

A documentary film

A publication

A live performance

Musical and sound compositions

A symposium
