Crossed Paths – Sheep – Writing by Phil Smith
I commissioned Phil Smith to write a series of 8 texts for Crossed Paths, he wrote them in response to each of my 8 crawls, in response to my corresponding blog posts.
Phil Smith (aka Crab Man, aka Mytho) is a performance-maker, writer and ambulatory researcher, specialising in performances related to walking, site-specificity, mythogeographies and counter-tourism. A core member of site-based arts collective Wrights & Sites; and a co-author of the company’s various ‘mis-guides’. He writes and performs ‘mis-guided tours’, and creates inter-disciplinary performance. He is Reader in Theatre and Performance at the University of Plymouth and a visiting lecturer at the University of Exeter.
